Simon’s Town is situated along the western side of False Bay, just outside Cape Town, South Africa. Diving is done from both shore and boat and many of the reefs along the rugged coastline consist of kelp forests and huge boulders and rocks that play home to a myriad beautiful marine creatures. Most of the dive sites are located in a marine protected area and marine life is plentiful and colourful, ranging from huge southern right whales, dolphins, seals, fish, and tinier critters such as nudibranchs and crabs.
